Petrous Inc. is an Alberta incorporated and based company focussed on raising capital to assist small- to medium-sized enterprises in the Canadian energy sector. Petrous assists companies in raising funds from private sources. Petrous identifies suitable investors primarily in the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and Canada, and introduces those investors to Petrous clients. Petrous provides ongoing advice through the full cycle, from initial presentations through negotiating term sheets, and review of final agreements.

Paul Hanson
Mr. Hanson has worked in the capital markets in the US, Asia, and the Middle East, organizing financial markets, and most recently created
BIDS Trading, a consortium of major investment banks (Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Morgan Stanley, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., UBS, Credit Suisse Group, Knight Capital Group Inc., Citi, and Deutsche Bank and
NYSE Euronext. Mr. Hanson has extensive contacts in financial markets worldwide, and experience in negotiating complex deals.
Arthur Pacheco
Mr. Pacheco is an experienced senior manager with deep connections in the capital markets in the US, Asia, Middle East, and South America. Mr. Pacheco has held senior managerial positions in equity sales and trading with
Cantor Fitzgerald, Bear Stearns and
Rasameel Structured Finance Co. He also created
STRIKE Technologies, an Electronic Communications Network/Alternative Trading System based in New York. He brings expertise in structuring deals, evaluating business opportunities, and preparing companies to raise funds in the venture and private equity markets. With over 40 years of experience Mr. Pacheco has an exemplary reputation for honesty, sound judgement and his collaborative management style. His credibility and experience will assist Petrous and Petrous’ clients with introductions to major sources of funding in difficult to access markets.
Steven Brown, B. Sc., B. Comm., MBA, CMA
Mr. Brown is an experienced senior corporate finance professional with 20 years of accounting, finance and banking experience.
Mr Brown has held positions including CFO and several senior management positions in the banking industry. Most recently Mr. Brown capped 15 years with the Business Development Bank of Canada as Managing Director of the bank’s Energy Group, where he established and built out the bank’s E&P and Oilfield Services operations for Canada.
Mr. Brown has been directly involved with hundreds of transactions and has expertise with all aspects of Corporate Banking including capital markets, term and revolving facilities, syndications, mezzanine financing as well as lease facilities and balance sheet restructuring.
Terry Yoxall
Mr. Yoxall has held the President and CEO position with numerous oil and gas and energy service companies such as Royal Northern Oil Ltd. and Wilson Mud Canada Ltd. Mr. Yoxall has been a director for a number of private and public corporations and currently holds three active director seats.
Warren Hall, B. Comm., CGA, MBA
Mr. Hall is an experienced Manager with strong technical and business qualifications with a track record of many years of hands-on experience in Management and Business unit development. Specifically, Mr. Hall has held positions of Chief Financial Officer, General Manager, Divisional Controller, and Transportation Manager in industries ranging from petroleum production, oilfield services, transportation and municipal government.
